What you can expect
Aldila Press offers editorial, translation, ghostwriting and publishing services. Our publication works on a hybrid publishing model. A hybrid publishing involves a reasonable fee at a rate reflecting the labour and other costs of the services you request and of production. We believe that authors should retain the majority of royalties and this is the kind of arrangement we offer for royalties received by Aldila Press for works we publish. However every writer is unique and we are happy to discuss an arrangement that might work for you.
Branded Publishing and Online Publishing
Reach out to us for a quote on our publishing services. If you have a completed manuscript, or if you have a draft that still requires work, we can help. We will take your work to a final finished and published book that you can be proud of.
Proofreading
Proofreading targets surface level errors. Our proofreading services return your draft to you with grammatical, typographical and spelling errors marked up with corrections.
Copy Editing
Copy editing focusses on general syntax and readability of your draft. We will help you with recommended improvements to your text, based on the values that you would like your text to express; and identifying areas where your text needs improvement.
Translation
Do you have an Italian work that is not well-known in the English-speaking world, but deserves to be? Would you like to see your English language work published in Italian. You can see examples of our translation in Matteo Bandello’s Romeo and Juliet, Luigi Capuana’s The Dragon the Witch and the Daughters (Il Drago), Italy Unveiled: A Journey in Poetry by Luke Whitington (forthcoming) and Cinthio’s Desdemona: the Story that Inspired Othello (2025).
