Aldila Press is a boutique publishing house focusing on publishing new works of fiction, non-fiction and poetry. We publish both in English and in parallel language editions. Our publications include Luke Whitington, Italy Unveiled: A Journey in Poetry (forthcoming 2025), Cinthio’s Desdemona: The Story that Inspired Othello (2025) and Matteo Bandello’s Romeo and Juliet (2023) (the primary Italian source story for Shakespeare’s play). All three works are available in parallel language editions (English-Italian), as well as in English only editions. Michael Curtotti, Ten Lives Inspiring Human Rights (2020), also published by Aldila Press, is a general introduction to human rights in the form of ten short biographies of key historical figures who were involved in the struggle for human rights.
Our services include copy editing, proofreading, translation, and branded publishing particularly designed to support independent authors, poets and writers.
We are interested in working on a wide range of literature including new and original fiction, non-fiction or poetry. We are particularly looking for works which help us better understand the world we live in, ourselves and our fellow human beings; stories and literature which delight us with their beauty or insight or which help connect us across boundaries of belief, culture or language; literature which gives us new perspectives and stories which need to be better known. If you’re unsure if we might be interested in your work, simply feel free to ask via our contact form on our Services page. We can also be contact via email by writing to submissions@aldilapress.com.
